About Us
The business of letting property has its rewards, but it can also be fraught with risks. The role of the landlord is many-faceted and it is important that you are kept informed of current issues and any changes to legislation.
The North West Property Owners Association is an organisation, which offers an invaluable back-up service for landlords and letting agents. The legislation and the problems, which beset our industry are the same, whether you let or manage one, or several hundred properties.
We are here to help landlords in the day to day running of your business. From general advice, legal advice, to all the documentation you will need, such as tenancy agreements and notices.
The NWPOA was formed in 2001, when the Liverpool and District Property Owner’s Association merged with the Merseyside and Wirral Landlord’s Association. The LDPOA was the oldest property owners association in the U.K. – having been in existence since 1862.
We provide a comprehensive service for all landlords and letting agents in the North West of England. Being a landlord can be risky because of the amount of legislation which besets the business of letting property.
You can feel that you are on your own, especially when things go wrong. The NWPOA is here to provide you with the advice, information and representation if you need it.
We pride ourselves in offering good landlord to landlord advice. This advice has saved money for many of our members. We also give you the ability to network with other landlords – to share problems, experiences and ideas.
We are a pressure group and we express the views and opinions of our members to Members of Parliament, Local Government and other relevant agencies.
